Yes you are right Mike, that's why the Army took the mats out. Also it
was the same on the M880's.

Personally I wouldn't use the rubber mat. I would use Rhino Liner, or
Herculiner on the entire floor. That way, you have nothing to tear,
nothing
to collect water underneath and rust your floor.
