In addition to what my esteemed fellow lister APB had to say I offer this;
Each and every year we, (American Legion Post 109 in Gaffney South
Carolina), have to take fresh pictures of both our Huey and our T-37 and
send them in to the authorities. Mind you these cannot be digital pictures
they MUST be on regular film with the dates taken provided. We have also
had on at least one occasion a nice gentleman from DOD came by for "a quick
look around". He had full creds and was in fact who he said he was, (not
being trusting by nature I called & had him verified), he went through our
museum and the aircraft on display, shook hands and sailed away.

As APB says, they do check and they do check each and every year!

Best Regards,

Ed
