One of our illustrious members produced the following phrase, which I
thought
was a bit of a stretch for most of us colonials. So I asked a friend for
a translation
and this is what I got:
"It's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsey in snide"
Crackers *means * crazy
Rozzer *means *police officer
Dropsey *means *getting away .....
Snide *means *sly underhanded, crafty...
