When I worked for Useless Airways in Charlotte Heavy Maintenance there were
several C-47s or DC-3s in the hangar next door to our main hangar in W.W.II
colors and invasion stripes. They were used for freight I think and movies,
TV, etc. as required. I think the name of the people that ran the place was
Saber Aviation but that was back in the last part of 2001 so I might have
the name mixed up with someone else. Beautiful planes though! Loved to see
them go out for run up and flight, sounded and smelled GREAT!!
