A Warrior's an IFV, not a tank Nigel. ;-)
Reports I read showed that the molotov coctails
dripped down into the engine compartment. Though,
they may have also started kit stowed on the
outside (cooker fuel, ammo) to burning and that
spread. We lost an abrams to fuel stowed on the
turret rear bustle with the burning fuel dripping
down into the engine for long enough to get the
engine a blaze.
