I use first low the R's are up but that's not bad and it sounds awesome,
better than lugging her, there are times when second is needed but that's not a
big deal, the ratio is close enough, so its not a big change in speed if you
have some fast walkers, Its fun big time to make eye contact with the kids to
wave, but be sure to keep one eye on what's in front of you,
Having another ride with you shotgun is always a good safety thing, as in a
time you may need to back up, you will have someone you could go over a
procedure with to back up safely and so your not distracted by all the other
experts that will try to help. although well intended its just plain silly for
someone to try to direct a truck with out touching base with the driver first!!
You will get the feel of what your truck wants to do, and you will do it,
