I priced cooking oil at my local Smart-n-Final store in Riverside, CA
recently. As I recall, it came out to about $2.73 per gallon for the
cheapest clear liquid cooking oil in 5-gallon bottles. I would think
that it would be cheaper in larger quantities from suppliers higher up
the food chain. I haven't priced #2 diesel lately, but isn't it getting
pretty close to breaking even with fresh cooking oil?
