Rear Mutt diff making LOUD noises

Hi all!
The rear diff on my 151A1 has begun to make loud noises when I take foot off
gas It was NOS when I installed it about 10-12,000 miles ago. At first I
thought it was low gear oil. I checked and refilled it, with no change. No
oil leaking or anything I can see.
Any ideas?
