Collapsing the return hose,
will also shutdown the engine.
This is the hose that comes off the top of the
injection pump and returns the excess fuel back to the
fuel tank. The pressure buildup throughs the injection timing
way off diabling the engine.
I've done this a number of times.
This tidbit is in one of my HMMV TMs
so yes it is documented.
