Back in the 60's some folks were doing that but, with todays
bio-degradable tissue that basically disinteragtes when wet (etc) I don't
think I'd try it. The idea did work. I actually tried it in a 1951 Chevy
I had while in high school. The roll remained intact but as I recall was
really a mess when changing it for new one.
