Does any one have a parts cross list for the M151A2 that would give Napa or
other main chain parts house for engine parts such as the throw out bearing
and related engine parts????

Ryan's link is another internet Black Hole time waster!
Reading the posts brings you to a picture of Ryan's (at least I think
RMGILL and Ryan are one in the same) concept M35 Crew Cab. SWEEEEETTTTTT!!!!

Ryan, you have any more massaged photos of your proposed/concept
vehicle?

I wonder why the military didn't try this as a prime mover for
artillery? Probably because they could spend more money on SP artillery
tubes?

Hey Mr. Deuce Butcher, another concept to reduce the numbers of the

Just because you can count beyond 6 lugnuts doesn't mean you are special. My analyst told me I am too... (;->)

On a serious note, is this truck for real or a computer simulation? I'd like to hear about it also as it looks almost practical and practical is good when Diesel prices are $3.00/gallon. (Sorry, I am still trying to cope with $125 to fill my pickup truck tank twice a week.)

Yep, that's me. Tank Net is lots of fun. You should read Manic Moran's whole journal from his time in Iraq. Lots of Goat Ropes. He and his platoon had two tanks in a high speed chase through their AO one day. He was begging for a light bar for his Abrams that day.

> Ryan, you have any more massaged photos of your proposed/concept vehicle?

I can't take credit for the photo. I did a line drawing that I posted on steel Soldiers and another fellow did (Jeff) a photo concept (the one I posted over on TankNet).

see: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=2894&h ighlight=crew+cab

Then there's the guy (Hot Rod) that's actually putting a Deuce crew cab together. He's ALSO putting together a Deuce frame, a Mk48 PLS cab and two 5 Ton steer axles for a Mini HEMTT Deuce.

> I wonder why the military didn't try this as a prime mover for artillery? Probably because they could spend more money on SP artillery tubes?

I wondered the same thing. Would have worked great for the Cannon Cockers I think. And for a S4 Command truck. Place for a radio operator and kit plus cargo space for gear that the S4 always wants.

I wondered if anyone would get a kick out of those photos. Seems like I hooked Ronzo at least.

To fill my vehicle that I usually take to military truck meets costs $1000.00 with todays gouging prices for diesel fuel.

The rack was not used in the 1009. But I adapted the rack to have 2 feet that bolt to the floor behind the rear seat. I have also seen it mounted to the left wheel well.

I don't know if all were the same. My Engineer unit mounted them on the tailgate.

Hello List-

A friend of mine is trying to sell his Ford GTB U.S. Navy Bomb Truck. It was completely restored a few years ago. If you have been to EAA Airventure within the last 3-4 years, you have probably seen it.

For pictures and more information go to: http://stampedout.net/odds-012-ford_gtb.html

The truck is located in the Appleton, Wisconsin area and he is asking $15,000 but I think he is open to serious offers.

As Always,

Robert Buettner

The other day I put 10 gallons of E85 in my deuce which worked out to a 50/50 mixture with #2 diesel fuel. The truck ran fine and I couldn't tell a difference in power, sound, or engine smoothness. However, the truck is extremely hard to start when the engine is cold. Outside air temperature doesn't have much difference. It is equally hard to start at 40 degrees as it is at 60 degrees. Normally with just diesel the truck would fire immediatly at temperatures down to 30 degrees. I've asked a few people what the causes of this are and they tell me, "it's because of the E85"...some people are just simple. I'm wondering if those of you who have run gasoline or veggie oil have noticed a similiar problem.

Marc

Hello all,

Well while I was going through the fiasco with the mechanic and my truck, I noticed the throttle shaft on my injector pump was leaking, on the drivers side. Do many diesel shops rebuild these pumps? About what does it cost to get one rebuilt? Does the whole truck have to go to the mechanic so they can tune it? Or can I just send the pump in to get rebuilt and do the work myself? How hard is it to take the pump off? I know the intake has to come off, how do I take the IP off, and keep my timing settings? Is there a seal I could replace myself, or does the whole thing need redone? Also, I am thinking about getting injecotrs rebuilt while I am doing everything.

Thanks

Caleb
