Re: 2 1/2 Ton Truck Driving Completely Under Water

I'm curious as to what they did when the river bottom wasn't low enough
for the deuce to go out of sight. That must have been some vision for
the enemy to see just the windshield, maybe the hood and a deep sea
diver coming at em. Visions of Loc Nes Monsters appear, if ever so briefly.

On the other hand, when there was a dip in the river bottom, the truck
went down a little too far, and water got into the air intake. I guess
the driver/diver just left the truck and swam away. There must be a
river somewhere near Aberdeen that has a bunch of rusting deuces on the
bottom.

Any of you "old timers" every have the MOS of "Driver/Diver?" :-)
