I bid on a lot with GL today and it was one and a half hours before closing,
it was at $463.00 I believe so I just put in $877.77 and had to leave the
computer, then tonight I went to the event and saw that the lot sold for
$870.00.
Now, my question for you guys, what would keep GL from just telling me that
it went up to $870.00 when in reality it only went to $500.00? I have no
way of checking that the bids went back and forth for the last hour. Maybe
there was only one bidder other than myself that wanted the lot and he
stopped at $500.00.
What are your thoughts on this? Has this scenerio ever been possible with
you? I normally stay at the computer and get outbid notices and can decide
if I want to go higher, etc but today I couldn't.
Would they be forced to show me the bids if I demand it?
Sonny
