Ok, point taken! :-)
"GL" is Government Liquidation, the middle-man company through which
newly surplussed US military vehicles enter the market. Thus, they're a
common topic of conversation among those of us who like to play with the
newer vehicles like M35-series 2.5-ton 6x6 trucks and CUCVs which are
still being released from government service.
DOT is the Department Of Transportation. Many of us who drive the larger
MVs (i.e., 2.5-ton and larger) need to care about their rules, depending
on what we drive, how we drive them and what states we own/drive them in.
If you need a GL/DOT/ChiCom break until these threads die out, then why
don't you wander over to my web page and look at pictures of my trucks.
