CARC is not a problem in reality. It is the same type of polyurethane 1 or
2 part paint that is used in almost every body shop and is on almost every
car sold. It just is not an issue to the end user, in fact it is safer
because of its stability and durability. CARC/Polyurethanes do require some
care when spraying and sanding to avoid nervous system issues from long term
exposure but once dry is a great coating. You can eat off it without a
problem. All of the enviro-legal boilerplate has been misunderstood and
blown way out of proportion. Don't worry about carc at all. The ebay thing
was good for a laugh that's all. A little humor is good to start the day :)

Subject: Re: [MV] Ebay radio/ CARC
given that people would be touching the radio while in
use would it be painted with CARC to begin with? If so
wouldn't that be a huge health issue for the military?
