Ahhh that's not quite right.

If it was then everyone who ran a garage sales would need a sales tax
permit and business license. It just isn't so.

In fact if you are in business and don't make enough money, the IRS will
rule your business a hobby. And void your deduction of expenses since
after all it is only a hobby. So unless Sonny is declaring expenses,
declaring income and all the rest, he isn't in business. He is just
selling stuff he doesn't need.

Check out the IRS regs, but take several Tylenol first!
