A few years ago a customer of mine who had over 500 over the road truck
tractors had a commercial device that did just this, they used it two
ways... the had a portable one that they could sit beside truck while it was
on oil change pit, as engine oil was drained out this device pulled fuel
from fuel tank on truck, mixed with oil from drain pan stored it in device,
when oil draining was complete mixture was pumped back into the truck. They
also had a stationary device that they used if there was a rush on service
bay. It colleted oil mixed with fuel from a storage tank and put mixture
into another tank to be pumped into trucks later.

I had the opportunity to examine this machine and basically it consisted of
two suction pumps, metering device and filters, used oil was sucked in,
pumped through a set of 2 filters and was metered into fuel at a set
rate.... A somewhat proficient mechanic could build a much simpler device,
all I see a need for is filters for used oil, some way to measure amount of
oil and then just add to fuel and the prescribed rate -- and I have no idea
what this rate would be.

This company bought new trucks with warranty extended to 500,000 miles and
at end of warranty time traded tucks in for new one, they used about three
brands of trucks and all the truck manufactures knew and did not have a
problem with the oil/fuel mixture. They were my customer until they were
bought by a larger trucking company and I lost them as a customer, when I
was last there they were still using device, I do not know if new people
continued.
