TJ,
Very well said.
Those of you on this and other lists who do not wish to support the MVPA should not be members of the association. Keep your dues. If you loose the right to own a Former Military Vehicle you will at least have saved enough money to buy a few six packs.
Always remember... everything you write on this list is archived. Assume everything that touches the internet is archived somewhere. If you don't believe this to be true just wait a few days and search for this topic on Google (Hint: put your name within quotes and do a Google search... lucky is the person who is not found in the search
There is not another organization like the MVPA. And I admit the MVPA is not the most perfect organization. Like other clubs and associations I belong to it must continue to grow and adapt to the current environment. There are new challenges that were not present even a decade ago. As I have said in an "off list" E-Mail, the MVPA needs to step
I agree with TJ's "take a chill-pill" statement. There are people working on this. I believe all of this will work out well.
The MVPA and it's members really need to be a cohesive unit. I know there are members who are happy to just get the magazines. I was one of those members too. I use to have the "wait and see" what they will do for me attitude. I do support the MVPA. I do have disagreements with the Board. And I will work within the structure of the
Those of you who have gripes about the MVPA need to voice them to the Board of Directors. Get involved. They will not know what is wrong unless you, as a member, tell them. And like any Board Member, I really won't care as much about your comments unless you are a "paid up, card carrying" member. If you are not a member, and you own an
And remember: "You will only get out of the organization what you put into it".

Historic Military Vehicle, or are in any way involved with the hobby, or support the objectives of the MVPA, you should join (or re-join) the Association.

If you're a reactionary nut-job, you have the right to remain silent, (that's a nice way of saying STFU) and remember, anything you say, can, and will be used against you by someone who wants to see former MV's cut up into little tiny pieces.
