I just used Randolf Products 24084 and I'm never going back to Aervoe or
Gillespie. Like the old Bell helmet adverts, "if you have a $30 resoration then
use a $30 paint." The Feds changed the numbers on the paint fomulas in the
1980's, so, by the current standard, 24084 is the old 24087 and that is why
Gillespie is too brown. Gillespie uses the current fomula, i guess. Aervoe's
color is a better match but they also changed their fomula. I painted a jeep
with it several years ago and when i went to touch it up last year with new
Aervoe the paint did not match. They have made it more green and a little
lighter.
