Well Mine Is still original, M1009 1984

HOWEVER I am considering the buton, as I have some short to ground somewhere
on the drivers diag cable to the gen 1 light
and have not started it since july, SObbs
I really miss her, Sure wish I could get it running agian, but never
seems to be time and weather to work it.

BUT I WANT it ALL MIL_SPEC ;-)

Had my M-1009 for 7 years and have not had a problem with the glow plug
controller.
During the same period, I have replaced 5 glow plugs.

And just how have you determined that 'most of us have converted already' ?
I would venture you might find the opposite to be true! I'll start that
survey by saying that my 5 are just the way GM produced them - and start
fine. How about the rest of you CUCV guys? (WOW and this could
start/continue a thread that is HMV related, whotta ya think of that?!?!
