Spot on Arthur !
A Coffee pot scammell ! So called as the rad had
a large central water pot to keep water over the cores at the extreme angles
these vehicles could work at due to the interesting transmission system of
two " walking " gear cases for the rear wheels and the front axle pivoting
in the middle . War time models had a smaller " pot than the earlier ones ,
first designed in 1925/6 .
Early 50s EXPLORER 6x6, (FV11301 ) I think , though could be the earlier
pioneer 6x6 (39 - 46 ) ! They could be equipped with chains/tracks for sand
or
very soft going , that fitted over the wheels .
Pity it`s not the full size version , but not bad for the money !
Best wishes Noel
