Yes, but not much more. One or two clicks on the throttle control
should do it.
I've got a 55 hp Hercules farm engine I use to power a 10 KW generator
when the lights go out. It loafs along at 1200 rpm and has power to
spare running the 10 KW generator at capacity. It burns 2 gph on gas.
A big multifuel should not have to break 1000 rpm to get a lot more than
10 KW.
