Low Coolant Module on CUCV M1008

Hi All,
    Does anyone know anything about the Low Coolant Module on a M1008?
Like,
1-Where is it physically located?
2-What goes wrong with them?
3-Are they easy to repair? ie: are the chips readily available?
4-Is it better to just replace the whole module? ie: are they cheap and
easy to get?
