I had an uncle, a farmer, who like most, had a couple of 300 gal fuel
barrels at each farm site. They were, of course marked 'Gasoline' and
'Diesel' respectively.

One of the farm sites (unoccupied) kept loosing gasoline so he had the CO-OP
switch the contents. Found the problem kids and their vehicle about 9
miles down the road.
It turns out that they were just about empty when they filled up at uncle
Roger's "gasoline" barrel. The old Chevy didn't run well at all on just
about all diesel.

Would this be a good tactic for wartime ops to limit the opposition's MV
operations?
Leave fuel barrels around mislabeled.
