The M1009 and the M1008 trailers are 12v and they had the same type housing

as the 24v type. The "intervehicular connector" can NOT change the voltage.
The military 12v bulb will fit the 24v lamp sockets. The units that had
M1009/M1008 and M416 /M101 trailers just changed the bulbs in the trailers
