I took a look at the wiring diagrams and this is a brief synopsis of it.
There are two crcuits that go to the rear black out lights and trailer
connector.
These are 900 BRN/WHT & 902 GRN/WHT

There are four circuits that go to the rear service lights and trailer
connector.
These are YEL 18, BRN 9, DK GRN 19, & LT GRN 24

I did not actually go out and measure the voltage, but I am reasonably
certain that
all these circuits are 12 volts.

You could get fancy and run a 24 volt wire and a control wire and put in
some relays where the connectors plug into the trailer plug harness . It
should be a relatively simple job for anyone handy with electrical stuff.

Not sure that it is worth the effort though, but if you do, you should
also put in a connector
for civi trailers while you are at it.

Just My 2 cents
