The guys at Coleman's Surplus near Harrisburg might be able to help. I
bought my M-1009 from them a few years ago and it was titled in PA. They
told me that it came right from the military so they may know a way to get
it titled in PA??
Best Regards,
Ed

Hi Bob
Last year I found that PA, NJ, and MA among a few other states will not
accept any paperwork from title companies, particularly those involved in
the scandal in CA. They also will not accept bill of sale only paperwork
from non-title states. He is either going to have to get GL to issue the 97
or another route would be to find a friend in a state that will register it
for him and issue a title that can be signed over to him. In short, he is
going to need a title to put it on the road in PA. Rick Thiers from
Restoration Specialties who is on this list and is based in PA can help with
PA related info I am sure. PA is tough to deal with.
Regards
Glenn

I have a friend that purchased a M1009 without a title. The seller purchased
from GL and was not issued a SF-97. Pennsylvania will not issue title on
just a bill of sale, they require a Court Order and that's a pain and
costly. Anyone leads on title services would be appreciated !!! Thanks...
