The 6 wheel driven WC-62 & WC-63 trucks had the same type of setup. They were
rated at 1 1/2 tons.
The drive flange behind the parking brake drum works great for moving the
rear driveshaft to the upper output shaft on M-715's. This modification lowers
both the transfercase noise & the heat generated by the transfercase. Ted
Hintopolis turned me on to this very worthwile mod & it works like a charm. He has
the complete parts list. Thanks Ted!
