I drove my cckw 352 with the duels for a long while , short trips of course
but for a considerable length of time, Any front end will feel the wear, as i
expected grease was pushed out more, and i expected this so i greased a lot
, i also grease and always have my front ends in the air and will spin from
side to side , at least once greasing again, My deuce steers very very well
without power steering, grease is cheap, duels can definitely be handled by an
M35 BUT use simple common sense, short trips just to impress those who will
enjoy it as much as you, and only steer when the vehicle is moving, this
practice should be done on ALL vehicles anyway, unless you do not mind replacing
parts in the front end before they are needed too. This simply reduces wear ,
and friction is greatly reduced and it is simply easier to steer also, I
have never had trouble one hand driving my deuce, i had a finger degloved a
couple of years ago, i put a steering knob on the willys for one handed 4
wheeling and just enjoyed a properly lubricated front end in the deuce , definitely
drove everything as usual,Grease and an easy touch and enjoy something most
will not do, Randy out
