I have a HMMWV and I mentioned earlier that State Farm Insures my vehicle
and trailer. They never asked me anything about reenactments nor did I
think to ask either. I think the only issue that did come up was if I
intended to rent it. They did take pictures.
I had an accident over a year ago. It was an interesting experience
submitting a claim. They told me to take it to a shop and have the shop
send them an estimate for repairs. I told them it doesn't work that way.
They were pretty nice in trying to work with me to resolve the problem. I
ended up having a Marine from the local motor pool write up an estimate.
After that they sent out an adjuster and he cut me a check on the spot.
