Yes, it is easy to find. When I got my 1009, it was missing and trans bad.
I am told the GM TH400 trans (very common and widely available) goes bad
without it there or bypassed, to move truck in yard. I bought a NOS trans
from Parramore in FL for $500. I also had injection pump rebuilt for $342.
You should also change the fuel pressure switch in the fuel filter base
soon. Get it from Owens Export for around $10. Makes starting easier in
cool weather and stops any drain back problems with fuel system.

with him and taking a look at his rig, I again noticed a part that GL must
have stripped off. It's the Trans Vacuum Valve that sits in front, to the
left of the Injector Pump.
