Setting up filters is easy in firefox/Mozilla. You don't have to be a
geek to understand them.
Go to the "tools" tab on the Mozilla Thunderbird mail application and
pull down to "message filters"
A window will pop up. Click on the "new" tab
At the top of the new view will be a entry named "filter Name"
right click and select paste into that field
go to the "Subject" box pull down menu and select "sender"
go to the "contains" box pull down menu and select "is"
go to the last box on the right just to the right of the last box and
right click and select "paste"
go to the bottom box and use the scroll bar on the right and scroll down
to the
line that says "delete the message" and click in the little box on its
left to flag this entry.
click on the "ok" button on the bottom right, and you are done.
vary, but most of them are relatively
simple. My explanation is probably more complicated then the actual task.
