Since I was quoited here, I feel I must respond. I believe the above
quoit is the strongest statement I have made on the "off topic" topic.
Even then I was only trying to state that SOME of the off topic stuff
would be better suited to a direct reply and not reflected to the list.
By that I mean the negative comments and complaints and the rebuttals
to them. Even then, if you are attacked in public, I don't mind you
defending yourself in public. I was really trying to say that more of
the on topic stuff should be kept on the list.
I am not "fed up" with anybody and, at most, only mildly annoyed when
it goes on and on and has absolutely nothing to do with MV's or
militaria collecting. I do feel that anything that deals with buying,
selling, owning, driving, restoring, transporting, insuring, storing,
history etc. of MV's in whole or part is on topic. I don't mind the
humor either.
I still think this list is the best place to be. I think that what
Darryl said about the M715 zone applies to the other places as well. A
lot of our questions are general in nature and if you post it in a M#
specific forum you are limiting your answers.
