I'd think a heavy gauge piece of sheet metal.......
OR, a butterfly installed in the air intake, if it's something that might
happen occasionally........
Cutting the air is the only way to be sure it stops.
As stated by others, if it's got any oil or fumes available, it'll still run
without diesel fuel.
But,
no air, no burn, no run (away).
