If I remember correctly I paid $26.00 to get across the George Washington
bridge and that was after waiting an hour while about fifty cops assembled
about a thousand motorcycles on a side street before escorting them across
in front of people who had been waiting about an hour. I was wondering why
the hell didn't they let the traffic keep moving until they had them
assembled and then stop us? I think I heard on the CB that they were going
to the Twin Towers site for a Memorial Service.
