I would think that if someone using them took the time to make sure
there Nuts were tight<?> and maybe even torque them properly they would
be fine, I have used spacers in the past on larger 4by4 pickups to
accomidate larger tiresoin the fronts, and never have had or noticed
any problems, And they were on the front , maybe more stress there,
just my experience, Randy

I thought I had someone on the list say those spacers were dangerous.
maybe a year or two ago, said DOT outlawed them anyway.
