Well folks I made it back home. 7,040 miles in 18 days ( including 4 days
for layovers and 1 day lost for weather delay). I want to thank all
involved for making this possible. Got a chance to meet some very nice
folks.
For Sonny Heath: Did not see any port of entry that required RV's to
enter, unless towing a vehicle or trailer (
Colorado/New Mexico ).
Met Mike Nichols & family, Gene Pantano and wife Karen, and Kevin Strain
and some antique tractor enthusiasts. Fine folks. Thanks to Mike anbd
Gene for their hospitality
States visited: ( some twice )-
Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennesee, Arkansas,
Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon,
California, Nevada and Arizona.
People that live west of Texas are getting raped on fuel, prices. Boders
on hi-way robbery! Now I'm back to looking for a job, again. Unemployment
can really strain a relationship!
