and has room for one hand-held item of defense. Most casual inspectors will
not unfasten battery cables and remove a vehicle's battery to determine if
the driver is defenseless or not.

Subject: [MV] Patton Museum Fort Knox?
| Anybody been to the Patton Tank Museum at Fort Knox recently? I was
| wondering if they search your car if you are going to the museum. I
| went to the Air Force museum in Pensacola and they just check your
| license and insurance. I am thinking about stopping on my way back
| from Dayton but don't want to go through a big inspection. I don't
| generally travel defenseless.
