Hi Alan,
Your V-100 was very nice!
I never did see Lee, but I heard he was there.
All,
A good meet. It was hot and humid and it rained like a fire hose at times,
but everyone had fun. The inside of the convention center was nicely air
conditioned The biggest display of MV bicycles I've ever seen.
The Amtrk (sp?) giving rides in the pond was impressive. I had never seen
one of these running before, much less swimming.
Brought two large empty suitcases and filled them. Filled the carry-on too!
I guess some of the items I bought got the attention of TSA as they left a
note in one of my suitcases. The note just said they opened the suitcase
and items may be re-arranged.
Regards,
Glen

Subject: [MV] Dayton....
Haven't seen any Dayton reports, so I guess I'll get it rolling...
Being only 20 miles away, it was cheating for us, so we took two vehicles,
my V-100 and Schwimmwagen, and our VC bicycle display. Drove the V-100 right
up I-75 and I-675. We also had a vendor table near R.Lee.
Overall, I think it was great. It was my fifth convention in ten years. Lots
of fun, great organization. Ohio Motor pool had their act together. We sold
stuff real well, had R.Lee at our table a few times, too. Variety of
vehicles and quality was really high. Found some great deals. Most of all
got to see too many friends to list.
