The in tank pump can be running and not put out. It has a magnetic coupler
between the motor and impeller. If the impeller gets gummed up it can stop
while the electric motor keeps turning. Also, the screen/plate on the bottom
can fall off and you loose pressure while the pump still turns.
Sonny, I'd say it's easier to loosen two motor mount bolts and jack the motor
than pull the injection pump assy. I even pull the left front fender if I have
to pull the injection pump.
