The other day I was lamenting the lack of a circuit diagram for my 1945
BC-611 walkie talkie. Would you believe there is a web site that has
circuit diagrams for all this sort of thing???!!! It was at
http://linux.cec.army.mil/Bille/mi.htm if anyone's interested.

Today I spent a bit of time working on fixing a rather large hole in the
chassis of my GPW. I had ripped off the top shock absorber tower, taking
a 11cm piece of chassis with it on the last camping trip.
I've cleaned it up and cut a replacement piece of steel from another
wrecked 1944 GPW chassis; I might get around to welding it in tomorrow.
