I believe that the 1/2 ton and early 3/4 ton models used mechanical screw
jacks by Auto Specialties Manufacturing Co. The part numbers for the 1/2 and
3/4 ton trucks are different suggesting different jacks - or at least
different lifting capacities - does anyone know what this difference is?
I also understand that the late 3/4 ton models and the 1 1/2 ton 6x6's used a
hydraulic jack made, possibly, by the Hein-Werner Co. Does any one have
the correct model number or any other info on these?
Any assistance to sort these nit-picking details out would be greatly
appreciated.
