Due to drawdown (wife insists), I am offering my M38A1 up for sale. It
is not 100% original so the price is right at $3800 obo. It was
sandblasted, primed and painted 34087 semi-gloss OD in April 95. The
entire brakes system was rebuilt in September 95. New top, front seat
covers and glass installed April 95. The 24V electrical system has been
replaced with 12V system using Delco alternator with built-in regulator.
Also, water proof plug wires and plugs replaced with civilian type. Tires
are 75% or better tread with new tubes all the way around.
There are nicer M38A1s around, however the cost is much greater than
this one. It is a strong running jeep. I drive it to work and around town
much of the time. My wife tells me I don't need two jeeps so either the
M38A1 or the '43 GPW has to go and I refuse to part with the GPW.
