Thank you one and all, the response to my naive query was overwhelming.(I
am new to the web as well and didn't expect such a response.) I clearly
have my work cut out for me. I will get back to you all when I have done
some research and understand what I am talking about a little better.

Unfortunately due to a lack of sufficient space I don't have access to the
truck right now so I will have to wait on dating it. It does however
resemble an M37 I was directed to on someones web page. Mine has been
fitted with a fiberglass cab in past years so perhaps it started life with
a canvas top.
