you can find out about the indiana dmro trucks (and many many more trucks
elsewhere-kentucky DMROs seem to have a lot, too) by going to the DRMS web
page and doing a item search for TRUCK. This web page is a labyrinth (it
took me a week to make even a little sense out of it) so good luck.
Basically, you want to find your way to the public search page, then enter
the item name (truck) and if you want to, go down to the bottom of the page
and choose the location (Crane, IN) make sure you check mark beside the
location(s) you choose, then hit search. There are many ways to do a
search- obviously just looking for a truck in Crane is not going to take as
much time as getting a category list (ex:aircraft and aircraft parts) from
every base in the northern hemisphere.
within the DRMS webpage maze you can also find the full international
catalogs. These are grouped by category and give more detailed info about
each item for sale. They also give the bid deadline date.
it is a great resource but it takes some time and reading to understand it,
but worth it.
to those who subscribe to the catalogs by mail and don't see the trucks i
was talking about, i think they may have been just entered in the web page
and haven't gone to print yet.
