I was out working around on my jeep this past weekend and noticed a bracket
that I had seen before, but not payed much attention to. It is a raised
bracket, about 3 to 4 inches long, and 3/4 inch wide, with a footman loop
ontop. It's ontop of the rear portion of the passenger-side rear wheel
well. There are several other footman loops around it as well. It had to
have a specific purpose, but what? It looks as though the blade portion of
an axe may go under the bracket and it is secured with a strap or two,
through the footman loops. But there doesn't appear to be a way to secure
the handle down. Maybe it doesn't need to be. And maybe I'm thinking too
hard about what needs to go there. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean
