It is sometimes helpful to remind the members of the list that you
must not only provide valid e-mail addresses when you join but also
make sure that they remain valid. If mail to you bounces, I will
unsubscribe you.

As the admin of the list, I get these messages and other errors
daily. Daily. I have real work to do and administering the list
cuts into that--not too severely yet, but I cannot afford to chase
after bouncing addresses. (Some time back, a college student on the
list remarked that it is "free," to which I say TANSTAAFL--there
ain't no such thing as a free lunch. I spend real money for my
Internet connection and real time administering this list.)
>It's possible to have sent again thee messages ?
Not yet individually via e-mail, unless some kind subscriber would
send them to you (DON'T resend any to the list). However, you can
get the messages from the web site archive
<http://www.skylee.com/mil-veh.html>. When I get the time, I will
set up some message archive files (probably by month) that you will
be able to request by e-mail.
Administrative note 1: The new version of sendmail I installed
(8.8.4) is much more efficient at queue handling than the sendmail
that NeXT ships. If your machine is down, my sendmail will wait for
five days for it to accept the mail. If it doesn't after five days,
your mail will bounce to me and you know what will happen then. If
you use an ISP to access the Net, ask them if their mail hub will
accept mail for you if your machine is not connected (that should
be SOP. but not everyone has a good ISP). If you use a company like
AOL, make sure that you read your mail regularly so that your mailbox
doesn't fill up.
Administrative note 2: Now that MacWorld Expo SF and the 1st Be
Developer Conference are over, I may have a few spare hours to
upgrade majordomo. I will set up digests for mil-veh and more
stringent e-mail validity checking. I'll post instructions on how
to switch your subscription when I do.
