Michael,
The steering knuckle is supposed to have General Purpose Grease as a
lubricant according to TM 9-803. The only place oil would be coming
from is your axle shaft seal. Perhaps this is badly worn, it could be
the inner seal on the differential side. This would require pulling the
ring and pinion to replace. If you have oil in your steering knuckle
that is the wrong lubricant, this would also cause this problem. Hope
