How to unsubscribe from mil-veh

I am surprised at how many people have e-mailed me, asking (nay,
demanding) that I unsubscribe them from mil-veh. This is not my
responsibility. It is apparent that I must once again repeat the
procedure which you must follow to unsubscribe, so that you may
fulfill your responsibility. Note that this information is in the
Welcome message you received when you first subscribed. To those
of you who enjoy the list, I apologize for burdening you with this
message--please feel free to delete it now.

To unsubscribe from the mil-veh mailing list, send the single word
UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of a message to
<mil-veh-request@skylee.com>.

Some absolutely critical things to remember:

Do not put anything else in the message.

Make sure you spell UNSUBSCRIBE correctly.

Do not send the message to me.

Do not send the message to the list itself.

Finally, and very importantly, you must send the unsubscribe
command from the account with which you originally subscribed.
This prevents malicious sub/unsub attempts. If you send it from
another account, the mail list software will ignore it.

For the many of you using AOL, AOL's e-mail system requires that
you put something in the Subject--the mail list software will
ignore it, so make sure you put UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the
message.

I will return to the US in a week or so and look forward to
installing an upgrade of majordomo.
