I don't think this problem is confined to just mil-veh. I have seen a recent
increase in "drive by" subscribers in all of the lists I recieve, as well as
the newsgroups wich I belong to. My theory is that at this time of year,
many people are getting bored with being indoors and are subscribing to more
lists than they can handle. I also think that this will eventually blow
over. As to the problem of the number of people who can't seem to figure out
how to get off the list, I see that on all of my newsgroups as well, and I
can't figure that one out. Just my $.02 worth.
